Genrietta Ignatievna Shuster, in whose house Sara Raitsykh was a nurse

This is the daughter of a St. Petersburg millionaire, Ignatiy Shuster, who had grown rich, speculating at the stock exchange. My grandmother Sara Raitsykh  performed the duties of a medical nurse in his house in 1913, right after her arrival in St. Petersburg.

Genrietta (or Gita) Shuster, was a fashionable woman, wore expensive and extravagant clothes. During theater performances, even the wives of foreign diplomats paid attention to her magnificent furs and offered her to sell them. In this picture, the hat incredibly extravagant even for those times needs no comments.
