This exhibition illustrates what Jewish life was like in 20th century Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Austria.
This exhibition includes 40 roll up posters that give insight to many aspects of Jewish Hungarian life, such as: work, leisure, school, the Holocaust, community life, life in the army, and portraits.
Centropa exhibitions are not to look at, they are to engage with. These personal stories and fates make this exhibition interesting and unique. Thanks to the teachers who cooperate with Centropa, we have developed several ideas for using the exhibition in schools.
If you are interested in hosting this exhibition in your school, community center or library, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Marcell Kenesei at Kenesei [at] centropa.org
